Being interviewed by Mathews he was cut off and Zell said I dont know why I came on this program and I will not continue unless you stop talking over me and allow me to answer your question. I will not let you talk over me the way you did that woman the other other night. A nod to Malkin. Well Chris got all quiet and actually let him speak for the rest of the segment. GO ZELL!

Eeep like 4 of us posted on this same time. My thread should stand though. I spent the time to actually make a point. Smile

The sweetest thing about what Chris did was HE BECAME THE NEWS, the exact opposite of what a reporter should do.

He was so over the top in his defense of Kerry, Miller saw through him and put him in his place.

God bless live TV, you just don't see that very often.

How will Joe Scarbororo react?

GenrXer
I defer to your post. You Da Man, with the point!
It was exciting for a fleeting moment though.

Very good point Peter and makes me wonder how long will MSNBC allow the Mathews Meltdown to continue. Mathews cannot control his liberal feelings and it is ruining what little of a show he once had.

Edit: rather then liberal maybe I should have said partisan. Regardless, Mathews has issues.

Mathews -- ZELL !!

... YES !! Wasn't that a moment -- !! I thought his speech was so incredible, but then the little extra at the end with Mathews and facing him directly with his treatment of Malken --- wow, straight talk! Wanted to challenge him to a duel -- and it sounded like he meant it. Didn't someone say he is 72? How can that possibly be... and on Brit Hume, that woman on the panel saying, yes, it was a strong speech, but he looked "so mad" and I don't know how it will play on TV ... ?? He "looked mad" because he IS. So damn honest. I think it played just fine on TV. Unforgettable!!
