SwiftVets took the wind out of his sail.

>>On a Sunday when most national news was focused on New York and the Republican Convention, it could not have been a more perfect day in Massachusetts. There, standing by the shore, about a quarter mile from Sen. John Kerry's Nantucket estate, reporters watched as the Democratic presidential candidate attempted to hit the water and windsurf.

But wouldn't you know it, there was no wind. So Kerry just stumbled about, attempting to keep his board and sail up and afloat. What better metaphor for a candidate and a campaign that only two weeks ago appeared poised in the polls to defeat an incumbent president?<<

The thing is, it is so typical of him, he just cannot seem to get a break,
falls down snowboarding, on his bike, (with his little daisy zippuller)
always manages to insult one group when talking about another, does
things like the Wendy fiasco, the throwing of the baseball was another
of his showing the world he just plain had no idea of what he was doing,
then tried to say he was making it easy for the catcher, the list goes
on and on and I wonder about this man's brain working, is it on fast,
or stun?

Stun, I am pretty sure it is stun! Very Happy

Duh, metrosexual...now I've heard it all. I don't watch TV very much and I'm an old dude so I've probably not ever done 'it' that way, but, please pray tell, WTF is a metrosexual....? Does he 'do' a whole city or what?

Pretty much what I think anyway...he's 'doing' all of us....Wink

I think it was on Dennis Miller last night showing Kerry on his windsurfer. He made the remark that Kerry was just out there waiting to see which way the wind was blowing before he decided which way to go.
How true it is.

Okay ... metrosexual is a fancy, modern word for fop. Someone who is into facial skin care, suits that would be familiar to those reading GQ, that kind of stuff.
