Well, I can fantasize, can't I?

I might not have every fact exactly right, but y'all get the gist....

Mr. Kerry, why have you respected and honored Michael Moore's freedom of speech, yet you have actively tried to silence the voices of 250+ American war veterans who served with you in Vietnam?

Please explain to the American people why you think Whoopie Goldberg, Al Franken, Michael Moore, Janeane Garafalo, etc represent the "heart and soul" of America to you?

Why have you refused to address the deep concerns of Vietnam veterans, about your post-Vietnam anti-war activities, including your meetings with the declared enemy of this country, while you were still officially serving in the U.S. military?

Why is your picture displayed by the North Koreans today as a significant contributor to their victory in the Vietnam War?

Why should you not be tried for treason for your anti-American activities after you returned home from Vietnam?

Why do you you claim to have volunteered for duty in Vietnam, when you actually first tried to obtain a deferment from any military service to attend school in France, and only after your request was turned down, you enlisted in the Naval Reserves, hoping not to go to Vietnam at all?

Why did you state that you were sent illegally into Cambodia by your country, a story now proven untrue?

Why did you claim to commit atrocities and to not learn that those acts were war crimes, until after you had returned home from the war?

Why did you testify before Congress that specific horrific atrocities were committed by the American military on a daily basis, falsely implicating every American who served in Vietnam, when you never actually witnessed such atrocities and did not know your statement was true.

Why have you never apologized for the negative impacts your post-Vietnam activities had on the lives of your fellow Vietnam veterans?

Why have you been trying so hard to keep the anti-war book you authored, "The New Soldier," out of the public domain?

Why do you continue to display total disrespect and contempt for many of your fellow Swift Boat veterans, by having your campaign continually refer to them as liars and by not acknowledging and responding to their legitimate concerns about your fitness to be President?

Why did you request a purple heart for an injury that required only a band-aid? And after being turned down, how did you later receive a purple heart for that very same injury without the knowledge of the medical officer who had refused your original request?

Why did you cut short your tour of duty and leave your fellow sailors behind after just 4 months, when you had no medical disability?

Why have you not defended your reputation by signing standard form 180 and releasing all your military records to the public domain? Is there something there you want to hide?

Why have you continually asked me to interfere with the activities of an independent 527 group of your fellow Swift Boat veterans, when you know that I can not legally do that?

Why have you not agreed to join Senator John McCain and me in a bipartisan effort to remove all 527 advertising from the presidential election process?

U.S. intelligence capabilities were not what they should have been before September 11th, 2001. I had been in office less than 8 months. You had been a U.S. Senator for many years. You had served on the Senate Intelligence committee. Your record shows you opposed additional funding for intelligence, even after the first World Trade Center attack by Al Quaida. In fact, you actually tried to cut billions from intelligence budgets, but your proposed bill was defeated soundly. Even Ted Kennedy voted against you on that. You failed to attend 75% of the public Intelligence committee meetings when you were a member.
How could you have been so anti-Intelligence and so apathetic about participating in the Intelligence committee, given the obvious threat from Al Qaeda and others, and why haven't you accepted any responsibility for the poor state of our intelligence capabilities on September 11th?

You studied the same intelligence I did, and you voted for the U.S. to threaten Saddam Hussein with military action, unless he immediately complied with all U.N. resolutions. Yet now you accuse me of misleading this country into war.
How do you excuse yourself and the rest of the Congress from "misleading America into war" with Iraq, especially since you now admit you would vote the same way today, knowing no WMD's have yet been found?
Did you expect this country to issue a threat of force to a defiant enemy thug and then simply back down, if he ignored our warning and continued to thumb his nose at us and the rest of the civilized world?

Why did you vote against financial support for American troops after you voted to authorize military action, and our troops were in harm's way?

Interest rates are now at historic lows. Unemployment is better than during the "Clinton boom economy of the late '90's." Home ownership is at an all-time high. Two million new jobs have been added in the last 12 months. All this despite the burst internet bubble and Clinton recession in 2000, corporate bookkeeping scandals that rocked the markets and the economic devastation that followed the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Why can't you honestly admit that my economic team has accomplished amazing things and that tax our relief for all Americans, including wealthy folks who provide investment dollars that create new businesses and new jobs, has proved to be a great success?

and maybe you can throw in a couple of classic one-liners from past debates...

There you go again....

Mr. Kerry, I remember President Kennedy, and you sir are no John Kennedy!

What points do you fantasize?

WOW - send that off to Bush!!

I've only one that I'd like to ask every member of Congress -- but each member is accountable in their own right -- so it's appropriate for kerry, especially now when his record must be scrutinized:

FBI Agent John O誰eill, special agent in charge of the Nat値 Security Div. at the FBI痴 office in NYC, testified before the Nat値 Commission on Terrorism (created by Congress) after the Afr. embassy bombings in 1998, and asked for more translators & suggested changes to the command structure in the US military, the CIA and FBI in dealing with int値 terrorism, and also proposed that info. be shared between agencies, and also warned that Al Qaeda & Islamic fundamentalism posed the greatest threat to the security of the United States. The Commission adopted O誰eill痴 recommendations -- but none of them were acted upon.

Senator, you have told the American people that you will stand tough against terrorism. As a senator so concerned about terrorism, I am assuming you attended that hearing. Will you now tell the American people what part you played, what action you took, in trying to get the Clinton Admin. to act upon those adopted recommendations of FBI Agent John O誰eill?
