Thanks for posting the link, I didn't know some Hollywood actors started a Republican committee!

I didn't know James Woods was a Republican either. He's one of my fave actors.

Also, I think a lot of Dems in Hollywood are Dems because they are afraid they won't work if they "come out" as Republicans.

Ron Silver said he hasn't worked in 9 months....

So much for freedom of speech. But, it just demonstrates what 'freedom' would look like under the socialist agenda...

Rob Lowe belongs on the list of Hollywood Republicans, too--

And I could be badly mistaken about this, but I could swear that Tom Cruise does, as well--Seems to me that I heard him and Bruce Willis referred to together in that regard--C

I'm sure this is not a comprehensive list. If you have AMC, there will be
show called "Republicans in Hollywood" Sept. 15 or so. I saw Drew Carey
on the ad snippet as a Republican. Who would have guessed? Very Happy

Drew Carey served in the Marines. Bruce Willis used to be a really out front Republican, but I haven't much from him in several years.

I always figured James Woods for a big time lib. He was on a NY to LA flight during the summer of 2001. He saw (and later remembered) a few of the 19 highjackers that were making a dry run. He recalled their suspicious behavior, but didn't pass it on. Remember, up until Sept 11, it would have been too politically incorrect to be concerned about a young Middle Eastern Muslim on an airplane....although it seems that we're almost back to that point.

Anyway, he reported his information to the FBI after he recognized the guys on TV. Sean Hannitty has interviewed him several times.

I find it ironic that Ron Silver has made a HUGE step in supporting the President, and he is being punished in his work. Tim Robbins and Sean Penn play to the Sheeple mentality by being anti-Bush, War, America and worry about "The chill wind blowing from the White House." Next time up, they both get Oscars.

Ron Silver is a big time Liberal and even he doesn't want Kerry. That says a lot to me. Wink

Drew Carey was a MARINE???? Shocked

The things you learn on these boards Very Happy

I think Bruce Willis was at a Republican convention but I can't remember if it was for President Bush Sr re-election bid or the Last Republican convention. The fluffy grey matter is failing me...

As far as Ron Silver goes,
I assumed he was liberal, but then, I assume
all Hollywood actors are of the Rosie O'Donnell model

He was superb on Chicago Hope.
Fine actor.

See? There's hope for Liberals yet!!

I think these guys are only liberal for the same reason most of them have drug habits. They see other succesful actors/directors/producers/writers have a liberal agenda and so these guys do likewise to be accepted and get invited to all the 'in' parties and it helps them get the good roles. Sean Penn, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp are extreme leftists and look how popular their careers are.

I think soemtimes McCarthy was right , too bad he went too far, or perhaps not far enough.

Actually James Woods DID take action on the day he was on the flight mentioned above (which took some cajones) . Here is a link to the transcript of his interview on Bill O'Reilly that I saw when it was broadcast. http://prisonplanet.com/transcript_actor_james_woods.html I always pictured him as something of a butthead, but after watching him in this interview, I realized... Wow! That guys one hell of an actor... I mean, I usually HATE him in most movies because he always plays such an a**hole. Now I'd love to sit down and buy him a beer. Who knew?

Tom Cruise was with Sean Pen and Martin Sheen on the Iraq issue. They offered to be sadaams human sheilds if my memory is correct. Drew Carey was a Marine and is in our corner. Tom Cruise is a liberal!! Semper Fi.

I also remember after 9/11, Neil Young said he was a Republican. I'm not sure if he supports Bush or not now.

www.rightnation.us has a list of actors/celebrities that are liberal and make stupid statements. Youll find them on the hollywood halfwits section. This section is viewable by all.

You can find a list of conservative celebrities by going to the forums, and scrolling down towards the bottom of the forums. Theres a section called conservative babes and hunks. Youll find a list of famous conservatives. This section might require membership of forums.

BTW Tom Cruise is not a republican. I forgot his exact words but he said something to the effect of America is in the wrong, and it saddens him.
