Former Marine here.

Does anyone remember what the name of the rifle range was at Camp LeJeune where you went to qualify for the year?

I am talking about the small little "base" not on mainside. It had its own E/O club.

It wasn't Geiger, New River, Courthouse Bay, or the French Quarter.

I am going back about 13 years here so my memory might not be 100% correct but I remember it being about 1/2 hour away from mainside.

After 6mos in LaJuene I couldnt take it anymore and went back to Vietnam mainly to get out of that hellhole. This was 1969 and the MC had 100s of thousand 19 year old combat Vets and really didnt know what to do with us or how to control us all. Wild times for everyone. Semper Fi.
