Looks like it is an attempt to mimic a sb ad.

Rush Limbaugh just mentioned this group on the radio, and my first thought was that it sounds like a copy cat of the Swiftees.

Thanks for the link.

Looks like they're trying.

Unfortunately for them, the facts are against them from the start. The AWOL thing has been disproven over and over again - they're spittin' into the wind.

Moving to geedunk, shortly. Smile

I guess we can call them "Texans for Kerry" just as the Kerry clones deliberately misnamed the SBVT as "Swiftboat Veterans for Bush."

Hello,

Quote:
Critics such as Mr. Kerry (who served in Vietnam, you know), Terry McAuliffe and Michael Moore (neither of whom served anywhere) say Lt. Bush abandoned his assignment as a jet fighter pilot without explanation or authorization and was AWOL from the Alabama Air Guard.
Well, as for abandoning his assignment, this is untrue. Lt. Bush was excused for a period to take employment in Florida for a congressman and later in Alabama for a Senate campaign.
Excusals for employment were common then and are now in the Air Guard, as pilots frequently are in career transitions, and most commanders (as I later was) are flexible in letting their charges take care of career affairs until they return or transfer to another unit near their new employment. Sometimes they will transfer temporarily to another unit to keep them on the active list until they can return home.

Resources & Research-Answering Kerry - 'Bush and I were lieutenants'

Bob Mintz and Paul Bishop do not have all the facts. I don't think they want to know them.

The following article looks like they have been trying to unseat President Bush before the SBVFT got involved.

Bush a No-Show at Alabama Base, Says Memphian

It is a good thing that they did because misinformation like this needs to be answered.

Keep the adds coming swiftys you are doing a good job.

Sort of like pulling the rug out from under them.

No need to support Bob Mintz and Paul Bishop they are so misinformed so lets supports our heroes the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Wink

Last night of FOX H & C they had a retired Ltc that was in Guard Unit in Al, when Lt Bush was there. The Ltc said he was admin officer and saw Lt Bush sign for drills. He said sure there would be pepole on that base and unut that may not have seen Lt Bush there was some hundred. Demo just can not face truth. SBV give facts, Kerry and his 527's try to fight truth with BS.
