I can't believe BOR is talking w/dem hack Ellis Hennican (sp) and really taking him to task. Mentioned having O'Neill on tonight

It's on my local radio sta. don't know link.

BOR didn't let Ellis get away w/trying to link SwiftVets to Bush. He took up for Bush's response to the AWOL charges, etc.

BOR said when he has O'Neill on tonight, he won't get into he-said/he said, but he has done his homework and will have valid questions for O'Neill. Ellis tried to make a disparaging remark about O'Neill's presence on the show, but Bill didn't let him get away w/anything.

May be some interesting calls coming in. I don't listen to BOR much anymore, but like to check in on his show to see what's up. Glad I tuned in to this one.

Go get 'em John O'Neill!

O'Reilly claims all kinds of righteousness but he too needs to be a politician- if he wants continued high ratings. He alienated an awful lot of us in his base with his smearing of the Swift Vets and he has a long way to go repave that road. Many of us deluged him (and the bosses) with negative comments in emails and I think O'Reilly stuck his finger up into the wind and found he was facing the wrong direction.

I have bought many of his books and would be loathe to do so again because if his intransigence regarding the Swifties.

Now we'll see.

it seems obvious that all of Fox news has made some changes in the past few weeks. I noticed it quite a few times on various programs. This 'modification' is coming from someone higher than O'Reilly at Fox, beyond and it probably has to do with the Dems criticism of Fox being a Republican news channel and Fox caved. Hopefully it's just temporary, it sure does usually provide some needed sanity.

BOR will have to go a long way to get me back as a llistener and viewer. Of course, he will not miss me as a viewer and one less blip on his ratings won't make the difference but it is all that I can do to protest the way he trivialized the Swiftvets. With a whiff of his nose and a wave of his hand he dismissed our claims to the trash heap. I do not think so.

I'm in the same boat Nomorelies. After these issues are settled, I'll be changing my viewing habits. I just like to keep tabs on what BOR and Chrissie and their ilk are up to. It is encouraging to see them backing off on their initial hateful and biased invective.

loyal listeners. Why? they just couldn't wait for him to say something

O' Reilly still thinks he's "in charge" of news flow.

The Swiftvets have left the harbor, scored some major victories, and have inspired others to put their own torpedoes in the water.

BOR is just now getting to the pier, and wondering where everyone is...

Don't let emotions cloud your mind, or be taken in, no matter what anyone's opinion of BOR's personality is, he does have the top rated show on cable, period. THAT alone will keep him in good stead with his employers. His type of show, addressing controversial topics, creates a huge draw with regard to audience. So, for people to get emotional, and disagree with BOR, is just what the doctor ordered. Some people can't wait to see BOR burned at the stake by some guest, while Bill happily banks the proceeds of his efforts. His program is exactly what is was designed to be, and agreeing with the host is not required.
