Looking for any pictures of Kerry firing guns like an idiot, I"ve seen a bunch, but need more.
note Kerry's Butt Out position. Also notice how the stock ISN"T settled firmly against his shoulder.
this is the latest in tactical training. |

Having been around all sorts of guns all my life I just don't understand some of the "gun lobby, NRA" positions...I mean really! "If guns were outlawed only outlaws would have guns." True statement. But replace guns with grenades, .50 cals, tanks, nucs or whatever and that argument starts looking a little thin. Many of my NRA friends were ecstatic when they passed the concealed carry law in Ky - you just needed a permit. Well, IF the government every DID decide to take away our guns (unlikely, I think) they'd have a good list to start with! and I'm sorry, but I really don't think people need to be riding around in cars with semi or automatic weapons with huge ammo clips! If you really enjoy that stuff, and I occasionally do, then keep it at home or at a gun club! That's just common sense. and any gangbanger caught with a weapon like that should be given a few clips, a parachute, and a one way ticket to Afganistan to find bin Laden! THAT'S the right to bear arms! |

The Second Amendment specifically protects Americans from Government that will limit gun ownership to the military. _________________ Bye bye, Boston Straggler! |

davdan2, I notice that your sig line is a clear "Kerry Talking Point" and not factual.
Funding for veterans issues has gone up 41% under the first three years of the Bush administration, more than twice as much as in the eight years previous.
Along with better funding and staffing of facilities and better placement of facilities, Bush has pushed to eliminate the beareaucratic tie-ups that resulted in long waits for veterans to be seen for service-connected disabilities.
Please correct your sig line. We're not about GWB, though we will attempt to clear up inaccuracies when they are posted.
We're about exposing the almost innumerable acts that Kerry committed which betrayed the Armed Forces and our country.
Kerry is Unfit for Command. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

50 caliber rifles are used for long distance target shooting. However, California is trying to ban them saying they are "assault weapons" when they don't even spray bullets, they are bolt action!
As a responsible gun owner, I am angered by these anti-gun people, who really don't know anything about guns, slowing chipping away at more and more models that aren't used by criminals at all.
Guns don't kill people, people do. Criminals don't pay attention to ANY gun laws either. It's us honest folk that get penalized by all these new gun laws. |

Judge Ronald M. Gould, in writing his separate concurrence in the recent 9th Circuit case Nordyke v. King, explained:
The right to “keep and bear arms”
is a fundamental liberty upon which the safety of our Nation
depends, and it requires for its efficacy that an individual right
be recognized and honored.
I reach this conclusion despite a recognition that many may
think that these ideas are outmoded, that there is no risk in
modern times of our government becoming a tyranny, and
that there is little threat that others would invade our shores
or attack our heartland. However, the Second Amendment
was designed by the Framers of our Constitution to safeguard
our Nation not only in times of good government, such as we
have enjoyed for generations, but also in the event, however
unlikely, that our government or leaders would go bad. And
it was designed to provide national security not only when our
country is strong but also if it were to become weakened or
otherwise subject to attack. As the people bear the risk of loss
of their freedom and the pain of any attack, our Constitution
provides that the people have a right to participate in defense
of the Nation. The Second Amendment protects that fundamental
right. |

IndianB-
Keep them coming!
My four brothers and I grew up around guns and rifles.
One thing our father did was teach us the utmost respect for firearms.
We NEVER EVER handled his guns without him there supervising. Though a couple of my brothers were "troublemakers", never did they ever attempt to get into my dad's collection.. That is what responsible gun ownership is all about.
Of course, the John Kerry's, Rosie O'Donnels and other anti second ammendment kooks would like nothing better to blame all societiial ills on the E-ViL guns...and draft legislation so law abiding citizens have all the rescrictions while the Bad Guys thumb their Ak-47's in our faces and our banks (anyone remember LA a few years ago?) _________________ Laura~ |
