| of the first Sept. 30th debate." This was Congressman Harold Ford of Tennessee on The Don Imus Show this morning. Conceding that Kerry has taken a serious hit he contended Bush`s lead could evaporate if Kerry makes a good showing. Ford is right if Jim Baker allows the current format with the announced moderators to go unchallenged. Sorry to keep bringing this debates stuff up but it is much to important to ignore. |

| It's also a little off-topic - from what I have been told, the Swift Vets aren't about supporting Bush; they are only about telling the voters what they know of Kerry from Vietnam. That's it. What the voters do after that (and how Bush runs his campaign) is a separate concern. |

Correct.
We try to correct misrepresentations when someone posts them about any of the candidates - even Kerry - but the purpose of these boards is to tell the story of John Kerry's betrayal of our Armed Forces and our country.
The front page is for news - the Swifts' message and its impact upon the Kerry campaign. Moving this to the off-topic forum in a bit...

| really, the swift boat vets should support bush to make sure that kerry dont become are next president...i dont think america can take that chance and let kerry be are next president.... |

This board isn't about politics. It's personal.
There are people of many political persuasions, here, supporting the Swifts and their message.
A liberal who recognizes Kerry's unfitness for the Presidency is just as welcome as anyone else.
This site isn't about electioneering - it's about righting a wrong 35 years old.
