Has John Kerry performed his duty as a US Senator? He missed voting on almost 30 important pieces of legislation in 2003 and 2004. Should he have resigned his position in the US Senate to make his run for President? Why is the American Taxpayer paying his salary to perform his job in the Senate?

He claims to be concerned about key issues regarding health, education, defense and homeland security. How can we believe that he truly cares when he didn’t bother to show up and make his vote recorded?

John Kerry didn’t vote on the following pieces of legislation in 2003 and 2004. Why are more people not upset about this?

I think he's reluctant to vote recently because he tries to take both sides of the issue. He's not confident/man enough to take a stance on something and stick with it. Very telling of his character.

Any decent person would resign from Senate , as Dole did, to run for President.

Seems to me that maybe even Kerry doesn't think he will win. Wink

On a previous thread I called JFK a thief. Taking monies in the form of a salary for work not performed is theft of services. Also, the Senate floor rules require that an absent Senator is to relinquist all salary when the Senator is absent from floor duties, ie: voting on Senate business. There is no record of him doing that. There are records showing that he took his full Senate salary while missing the above mentioned votes. AWOL again, and taking his unearned salary in violation of Senate rules.

Some one in Machusetts (the a$$ is campaigning Laughing ) filed a complaint with the Senate over Kerry's absense and continuing to be paid. Funny thing the press hasn't followed that, eh?

Here's betting he gets re-elected to the Senate, though. Rolling Eyes
