During August. & September, the
social action committee is collecting peanut butter and jelly for
Hunger Coalition. Any other canned or dried food is welcome as well.
We are also re-starting a diaper drive
for Parents as Teachers. The diapers go to families who cannot afford
disposable diapers and do not have easy access to laundry facilities. Any size
is welcome, but the particularly requested diapers for 16-25 lb. babies. Let's
keep those babies dry!
Hygeine items for Hospitality House: When Lyn Mason met with the social action committee last month she mentioned that Hospitality House needs health and hygeine items. This month we have designated the basket in Founders' Hall for these items. Suggestions includ: over the counter medications (Tylenol, Benadryl, Ibuprofen), shampook, deodorant, razors and shaving cream, diapers, and women's personal hygeine products). |
