I have a question which I have not been able to find the answer to elsewhere. I have a friend who insists that members (the men shown in the commercials) of Swiftboat Vets for Truth have never been interviewed on CBS, NBC, or ABC..particularly the morning shows. I find this hard to beleive, especially when the ads first came out and there was such an uproar and the media was all over it.
Does anyone here have knowledge of their TV appearances in the past?

That is something that I have been meaning to ask as well.
Especially the medic who treated a Kerry wound.

If you are talking about Kerry's bought Swift Vets, I have not seen them do interviews. As a matter of fact, I seem to remember them referring all questions to the Kerry Campaign.

Good question, but one that should be asked of the alphabet networks. Only they can answer why they haven't invited any of the Swift vets to appear and discuss their views and the issues.

Some on Foxnews have also raised this question without receiving any answer yet.

Hi, "learningthetruth." I think you deserve a more complete and comprehensive answer than you've received so far. You specifically asked about Swiftboat Vets For Truth. SBD provided a listing of all known appearances of men representing this organization at:

I quickly re-reviewed this list to refresh my own memory. I may have missed something, but if I did, it probably was not significant. If you review this listing, you will see that someone from SBVFT or a POW have made:

1) several appearances on FOX
2) numerous (in fact most) appearances on talk radio shows.
3) a few appearances at local affiliated TV shows.

What you will not see, and I think it answers your question, is that NO ONE has appeared on ANY the major broadcast network programs, and certainly not one of the morning shows. (At least I did not see any such appearance in the list, and I cannot recall of one If I missed one, it is certainly an anomoly.)

Hard to believe? Yes, we find it hard to believe, too. In fact this refusal of what we call the Main Stream Media (MSM) to give the SBVFT a fair hearing is the subject of many, many discussions in this forum.
