I went to a rally in conservative Johnston County, NC (south of Raleigh) and I got to shake Elizabeth Dole's hand, boy that was fulfilling. I sure do admire her a ton, she is still a good looking woman to be in her 60s. She was there campaigning for Richard Burr. He is the guy trying to take John Edwards seat back. Lots of hard core Republicans there tonight. _________________ Never Ever Give Up

My wife said it's a shame she didn't run for president instead of her husband. I have to agree. _________________ -I'm Jim, and I approve what I write, unless it's wrong.

Elizabeth Dole would have made a great president, however, I think it may have been a glass ceiling issue. Of course, for Hillary, I hope that it is unbreakable glass. Conti Rice might make a good woman CinC though. |
