I was reading the David Shuster thread and came across a post
from Islander. It was a letter he sent to someone named David. Very
moving, powerful post. I know there are more posted here just
as poignant.
Books like Unfit For Command and Stolen Valor are so important.
How about a new book? One that contains letters such as Islanders,
each one a testiment to what John Kerry's actions affected each veteran
who contributes a letter. How many could there be? Thousands? Could Kerry call each and every one of these veterans liars too?
Each letter, no matter how long, or how short, would be a voice,
a written piece of history that no "historian" or pundit could change.
John Kerry has been manipulating history to reflect him as a hero.
He needs a another dose of his own medicine, just like the almost
lethal one he recieved from Unfit For Command. |

No it could not be published before Nov 2, but hopefully this
effort to speak out against John Kerry continues, whether,
God Forbid, he is elected or not. Books are our written
history, there are far too many books like Kerry's awful
Tour Of Duty. If a kid thirty years from now has only that
one then the Kerry lie will continue. Even now people
think what he says is the Gospel truth. |

Alot of american folk heros owe thier place in history to outlliving detractors and then publishing autobiographys or others,at thier behest writting biographys. The svpt detractors-main stream media ,dnc, dnc candiidate, historical writer shilll brinkley ,will in time be "defrocked". That isn't wishfull thinking . The volumes of letters, FBI records, candidates deeds etcet will remain for along time.Times when the narcissist won't be able to spin anything. This dnc candidate acted to soon to be elevated to icon. Write letters.post them on web sites.put them in newspapers. The Viet Nam Vet woun't be gone and the "empty suit" will gather dust. |

How about everybody send a to the point email of their story to the Kerry site? And send a copy to all on your email list especially the FOX teams and OIM. May just make us feel better. I would keep it specific and avoid over the top ranting. (We will listen to each other here.) Pick a two day time frame and then we go. The sheer volume would get attention of some sort. It may be the beginning. Hey they gave videos cameras and film to Iraqi people and they got back tousands of hours of film and from their reports a wonderful perspective of all the good that US troops have accomplished.
So we just need to see how people feel and get ideas. CTW

I would like a book starting with letters from the veterans, from the
family members of veterans, especially the MIA's, KIA's, and POW's.
I remember all the letters, notes, and mementos at the Memorial Wall.
I want all the bitterness and sadness to be replaced by pride and honor,
something Kerry took away.
I'm tired and angry of John Kerry and his people defining how we felt back then,or how it was, we were there too, there were more of us than them. I'm tired of hearing how bitterly disappointed John Kerry is
that so little appreciate what he did. It's time he finds out exactly
what everyone really thinks and what we remember. In spades. |
