she bugs me...I can not quite put a finger on why....something about the way she speaks...always so careful, always so calculating, almost like she is talking down....

this wasn't the best I've seen her. She was able to slip in that the weapons cache all over the news had nuclear capabilities and should be seen as WMDs.

She never talks down. She never raises her voice. Even when constantly interupted by Allan she always keeps her composure and intelligently and quitely slams him against the wall. What Class and a very intelligent woman

Some of you youngsters don't know that Peggy was Reagan's lead speech writer. Absolutely a class act.
Put up an "Out to Work' sign months ago on her own column to work for Bush/Cheney.

Peggy Noonan was responsible for all of President Regan's most
memorable speeches. She is a completely loyal Republican, but
does not just parrot the party line. She is extremely intelligent and
speaks her mind, but, as mentioned above, she always remains
calm, never raises her voice, and is always polite and cordial to the
opposition. Then they never know what hit them when she delivers
a zinger.
