What? Not another poll! You betcha, and this one is of the utmost significance.
Q: How many of you sitting at the keyboard are doing so with one hand on the keyboard, and the other one holding a mini size candy bar?
If more than 50% of you answer "yes" then I predict a landslide for George W. Bush. This a highly scientific poll. Please answer accurately, and don't be a Kerrorist: only vote once. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

OK, I'm lookin' around for the web-cam...how'd you get into my house... I absolutely never sit and eat at the keyboard (really...I have a 6 year old and a dog...no way to eat, type, and fend off predators). HOWEVER, tonight the 6 year old is out Trick or Treating and the dog is locked in the bathroom so I can answer the door in peace....
I'm going to have to show my husband your post!
(AND for some good news...check out the new TRIPP poll on RealClearPolitics.com) |

I just ate a mini Milky Way. Does that count? I leave the Snickers in the bowl, because that's what most of the Trick or Treaters want. _________________ US Army Security Agency

Does the jolly rancher lollipop I ate a couple of hours ago count? I gave up chocolate for the week and started my fast at sundown. My husband is downstairs cooking away and it sure smells good. |

How about tootsie rolls. But now I have a big bag of Hershey kisses in my hand. Bush wins by a landslide and we bury Lurch in potters field. |

Ladies and gentlemen, the American electorate has spoken, and based on a random scientific totally unbiased sample, it is GEORGE BUSH in a LANDSLIDE!!
Tomorrows poll question: How many of you brushed your teeth before noon today? This question will determine which candidate has the most momentum going into Tuesday's vote. (This one is easy since Bush supporters outbrush the Kerry supporters by a margin of 10-1, particularly given the difficulties involved in getting running water into crypts.) _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |
