FL Senate Mel Martinez (Cuban immigrant) gave his acceptance speech. Betty Castor is insensed (THE Betty Castor, former President of USF ... you must remember ... also of Al Arian fame?) Mel accepted the Senate spot with a 51% - 49% race. Have lots of absentee (heavy Military; LOVE OUR TROOPS XO XO ) and Provisional ballots yet to count. |

All of the remaining precincts open are Bush country except Lucas (5% Open) and Summit (14% Open)...Its OOOOOVVVVEEERRRR!!!
Edit: Forgot Athens County (they are 30% open and are strong Kerry, but very small county---17,600 votes=70% precincts in) EVERYTHING ELSE OPEN IS STRONG BUSH and Hamilton County is slight/moderate Bush.

Those people at CNN are really pathetic and...look very depressed now. _________________ All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. |

TIME TO CONCEDE!!! |
That remaining 4% might be coming from the Cincinatti area. That could boost the margin for Bush well beyond 140K. No provisional ballots! |

Oh Yes...Just learned (from FOX) the Kerry kids are consoling; Ted Kennedy is advising "K"; wonder if we should look for an announcement soon? |

thanks ord33
I think if Pres Bush wins Ohio by more than 100K votes then Sen Kerry should concede. However, based on his behavioral history, I don't think he will do that. I have a feeling he will try to drag this out as long as possible.
I think if we take Nev, New Mex, Iowa and Hawaii, then it may not be an issue. |

Servy, Great point! I'm pushing for that 140,000 number too!!! That sure would be nice!
Clermont, Ashland, Hamilton, Knox, & Warren might just be able to do it, too!!! Depends on how strong the Hamilton county vote goes Bush i'd say to push it up another 20,000 |

I think with 97% in, it's already over 150K, and growing.
What's sKerry is that the Kerry Campaign is INSISTING they won't concede tonight by the excuse that hundreds of thousands of 'real' votes haven't yet been counted.
We'll find out tomorrow just what they mean by that. Remember, this is the clown that everyone has come to know and loathe - who promised to start picking his cabinet if he thought it was a close election. Well, it's a close election. |

New Mexico (5) Bush by 28521, with 93% pct.
Hawaii (4) ….still too early to tell anything. _________________ All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. |
