Has anyone else noticed that Bush sounds more confident and secure in himself since yesterday? I just heard a sound bite on Rush when Bush was talking about earning capital, and I've never heard that tone from him before....it was pure confidence. |

Well, sure. Look how he was elected last time--in a squeaker. This time he has a mandate (and he DOES have a mandate, I don't care how the OILM spin it) and has a wider majority of the GOP in both the house and senate.
He is talking and acting like a WINNER. And well he should! _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

Speaking of "building capital", has anyone noticed that the Dow Jones is up 3% in two days after the election?
It seems like Wall Street was afraid of a Kerry victory. Now that Bush is re-elected, the bull is back without the $#!+...
