They were doing a critique of the election and what went wrong. A lady from New York Post(Deborah Orin) said one of the big things was the swiftvet ads. She said Kerry people listened to New York Times who told them the ads didn't matter. But, she said, the ads did matter to the people out in middle America who heard people who served with Kerry question his character and ability to lead. So, the ads worked and affected a lot of people who wouldn't have known about what Kerry did in Vietnam, and who forgot what he did when he returned. Thanks again!

Thanks for this post.
The polls on what people voted on say the top thing was "values"

George Bush speaks his values - Laura is a testament to his values -
- they have raised daughters we can relate to (just a little naughty - sticking out a tongue at a reporter -- pushing the envelop when away at college -- etc.) - and he relaxes at home, etc....

However, the "values" of John Kerry - are best barometer is not his wife that we didn't feel comfortable with -( she isn't one of us - we all learned manners not to say "Shove it" to a reporter - we don't insult an opponents wife in an interview) -- the best barometer is those he served with many years ago --

And when the following all say that JK is not a good leader, we listened:

his commanding officers
his fellow officers of swiftvotes
the officer who took over command of the swiftboat he left
the POWs who were imprisoned while Kerry falsely testified about them

Wow, times must have really changed. If what the Bush twins did at college was "pushing the envelop", most of the people I went to college with would be in proison now. Laughing
The girls were under a microscope the whole time, I doubt they appreciate the media much for that. It's kind of sad, really.
