|
|
Many of those present declared the election of 2004 not yet over. "It ain't over," Rainbow PUSH Coalition founder Jesse Jackson declared. "This race is not over until it is certified -- every vote is counted and honored."
Story at:
http://www.cnsnews.com//ViewPolitics.asp?Page=\Politics\archive\200412\POL20041208b.html
I am so sick of this man and the whining of the people that he and
his coalition (mis}represent. To my knowledge, he has never held
a real job.
He is a shakedown artist who has made himself wealthy in the name
of victimhood of his 'people'. He has made victimhood a way of life
for those people.
His concern about disenfranchisement rings hollow.
Provisional ballots should not have been necessary.
Why doesn't he educate his people about voting.
Voting is a right but wth it goes responsibility--to be informed,
to register properly, to find out ahead of electon day where you
polling place is located. A simple phone call can assure you that
your name is on the voter rolls, and they can be informed as to
what identification is required.--BEFORE THEY GO TO THE POLLS
and create a lot of confusion.
Hilary Shelton, the director of the NAACP's Washington bureau, described what he called deception techniques targeting minorities on Election Day. Flyers were sent to black voters telling them the election was two days after the actual date, Shelton charged.
"We were told that if you were for one party, you would vote on one day, on November 2, but if you were the member of another party -- a party that over 88 percent of African Americans supported in this last election -- your day to vote was two days later," Shelton said.
"And indeed people came out to vote two days later and found out they could not cast that vote because of the kind of trickery that [they] were still experiencing," he added. "The trickery has become much more insidious than ever before."
Come On!! How dumb can people be.
Jackson threatens he will get Larda$$ Michael Moore to make
a documentary on election fraud. Oh, joy! More $millions$ in Moore's pockets for a fraud documentary about election fraud!!! |

The supposed incidents reported on election fraud are ludicrous. I can't believe that these people admit to thinking the election was 2 days later... oh, good grief....
Anyone with that little awareness of how elections work obviously doesn't have what it takes to vote.
If Rev. Jackson thinks that he is getting any respect, he is fooling himself. |

Guys dont fall for this bullsh*t, Ohio had polls open weeks before election day, even if people told them it was nov 4th or whatever, they could have gone to vote any time in the 2 weeks leading up to the election. _________________ John Kerry, R.I.P. (Rot In Paris) |

Paople like Jessy give all Democrats a bad name.
When is the IRS going to drop the hammer on this tax-exempt-non-political-blackmailing-organization? |

Another desperate attempt by Jesse to keep racism alive.
For him racism = job security. That' the bottom line in everything he does. _________________ Tony in Boulder, Colorado |

I don't know which is dumber, that we're supposed to believe that people got a phony flier and believed it or that they make such a charge without any evidence and we're supposed to believe it.
This got to be just fodder for those who are so brainwashed that they believe anything. After all, there are those who think that Bush is building prison camps for those who opposed him politically. _________________ John Kerry. A Neville Chamberlain for our times. |

I agree, but it's gonna take time.
In Ohio, Bush took 16% of the African American vote, up from 7%
in 2000. This is great news.
People are waking up to the fact that the Dems are using them and
that crying racism and victimhood is a ploy to keep them on the
Democratic "plantation".
President Bush's education reforms, demanding accountability and
results from failing schools and his initiatives to promote home ownership
are geared to help lift people out of poverty.
Lyndon Johnson's Great Society initiatives only swelled the welfare
rolls, encouraged out of wedlock children, destroyed the Black families by making them
more dependent on government.(i.e.--no need for fathers to be
responsible for their children}.
It is encouraging to see that people are realizing that they are being taken for granted by
these politicians. Hopefully, the days of the Dem 'payola' schemes are numbered. |

I think the Reverend Jackson should replace Kofi Annan as the Secretary General of the UN. We could replace one Con Man with another. I believe Toyota, Coke, and several other countries would welcome the relief from extortion. With Jessie at the helm of the UN they would be broke in a matter of months. I encourage Michael Moore to apply for thr impending vacancy so he may impart his wisdom on the Secretariate as a whole. Of course the Member States would ask the translation machines be turned off when ever he spoke; ensuring world peace. _________________ Retired AF E-8
