Retiring Sen. Zell Miller Joining Fox News
LOS ANGELES (Dec. 14) - Retiring U.S. Sen. Zell Miller, the conservative Georgia Democrat who backed President Bush's re-election, is joining Fox News Channel as a contributor.
Miller, who made a memorable TV appearance when he challenged MSNBC host Chris Matthews to a duel, will be seen on a variety of Fox News programs starting Jan. 6, a Fox spokesman said Tuesday.
"I am excited to be joining Fox News Channel and am eager to contribute to the continuing success of the network," Miller said in a network release.
In a raucous interview last fall on "Hardball with Chris Matthews," Miller, 72, angrily told Matthews, "I wish we lived in the day where you could challenge a person to a duel."
He made the comment when Matthews pressed him on barbs Miller launched during his convention speech against Democratic presidential contender Sen. John F. Kerry.
Miller, a two-term governor of Georgia, was appointed to the Senate in 2000. He's taught history and political science at schools including the University of Georgia.
In November, GOP Rep. Johnny Isakson won an election to succeed Miller. |

Shame on you Noyesj. Breaking up Sean and Alan would take away my primetime comedy show. I love watching these guys perform their antics each night. They are by far the best comedy team on TV since Burns and Allen.
Keep your O'Reilly Factor heads, Keep your Big Story Big heads, just give me Hannity and Colmes or anything with Ollie North I am happy.
The only thing that worries me is that after I watch H&C I feel like I must be a moderate since I can agree with some things from both of them.

He's the kind I like!
Maybe Colmes could hook up with Striesand and do the "Babs and Al show". I could just imagine what they could whine about! _________________ MOPAR-BUYER |

I would love to see Zell land an interview with Lurch,
Lurch would wind up with another purple heart, and it wouldn't be from selfinflicted wounds.
Old Zell would beat the botox right out of his horseface. |

Zell's famous quotes:
On John Kerry: "This is the man who wants to be the commander in chief of our U.S. Armed Forces? U.S. Forces armed with what? Spit balls?," Miller said at the GOP Convention.
To Chris Matthews: "I wish we lived in the day where you could challenge a person to a duel," after Matthews challenged his Kerry barb.
God bless America.

Even at some seventy years old, I bet Zell could punch out Kerry. Ever notice his (Kerry's) arms? He ain't "lifter of the year" material, fo sho. |

Kerry probably hires people to lift for him.
I'd like to see Zell replace Greta. Then maybe that hour would cover something other than some arrogant loser s**t salesman who killed his wife and kid and was a whole lot dumber than a box of rocks. _________________ DLI 78
