My column today discusses the hidden impact that the Armstrong
Williams/Dept. of Ed. scandal will have on minority conservatives:

As a result of the Williams/Department of Education payoff, the
rhetoric against the rest of us will get even nastier. In the name
of "minority outreach," the Republican education bureaucrats who
cooked up their pathetic scheme with Williams have done more damage
to our credibility than all the unhinged liberal cartoonists and
race-baiters and grievance-mongers could ever hope to do.

Thanks for nothing.

In the column, I excerpted a few of the countless hate e-mails
that come into my mailbox every day. Here's a bigger, uncensored
sample from just the past few months:

Hi Self hating flat nosed Filipino "-----"! As we used to refer
to your kind - little brown "---------" Machines. Looks like this
little LBFM learned to whore in a different way to make some pesos.

How can anyone think such horrible things, much less actually put them
in writing and send them to the person? I have a few female liberal
pundits that I can not stand (Eleanor Clift and Margaret Carlson are
two that come to mind), but I would never think of using such filthy
language to describe them, much less send those thoughts to them
in an email!

Michelle Malkin is an excellent writer who has the courage to risk the
disapproval of those who share her heritage by speaking out concerning
the immigration problem. She feels very strongly that the US needs
to control its borders and her columns frequently reflect this. BTW,
I very much doubt that the woman quoted above who said that she
was going to vote for Bush before reading one of Michelle's columns
was ever seriously considering voting for Bush.

She's smart as a whip, what I like to call 'wicked smart', well spoken, nice and just happens to be a world class beauty to boot.

Her ethnic experience, as does each of ours, gives her great insight into the cultures we are surrounded with.

My first guess looking at the vitriolic level of the stuff is that it might be from her having exposed Maxine Waters early on in her career.

By the way I have never met anyone of Filipino extraction who did not relish the American way of life.... so all these critiques about Bush are just ludicrous.... Statistically if you looked at Filipino’s for Kerry I think you'd find the same sort of ratio as Veterans for Kerry. Something slightly more substantial then the center of a Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut.

I find it interesting that all of these emails make a relationship
between being Filipino and being a whore.
I have two dear friends who are Filipino. One, a former co-worker
and one a former neighbor. Both of these individuals are devout
Catholics with very high moral standards, much higher than the
average liberal critic. They are also very patriotic and love America,
and have raised their families with those same values.
My insight tells me that the individuals writing these emails
are CLOSET LIBERAL RACISTS who preach tolerance for all,
but vent their hidden racism at Michele because she is
a Conservative.
