Since when is it dishonorable for those who served full tours to come together and correct a fabricated record of lies? Why is it you find it OKAY for Kerry to have a free pass in distorting the truth of his service and fellow vets cannot speak the ttuth?

Boy, you have some serious issues about truthfullness don't you Sen. McCain?

Jay, N3, war dog, I will be posting something in a few hours I want placed on front page and made a sticky here for all to see. It is inrefutable evidence that Kerry and his band of brothers are lying about Kerry's service.

Admiral Hoffman's response to SEN McCain:

Quote:
Swift Boat Veterans For Truth Responds To Senator McCain
Thu Aug 05 2004 17:10:20 ET

"Swift Boat Veterans for Truth has more than 250 members, many of whom were wounded or highly decorated in Vietnam.

We purchased with our blood and service the right to be heard, to set the record straight about our unit, and to tell the truth about John Kerry's military service record.

We respect Senator McCain's right to express his opinion and we hope he extends to us the same respect and courtesy, particularly since we served with John Kerry, we knew him well and Senator McCain did not."

Rear Admiral Roy Hoffmann (ret.), Founder and Chairman of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

Tom

If you can get senator McCain's e-mail address could you either send it to me or post it. I would like to tell Senator McCain that as citizens of this great country it is our right and now more than ever to let all citizens know who and what John Kerry is. John Kerry is stomping on our backs to reach to the top and those backs he are stomping on feel like walking and talking!

I heard on Hannity that even McCain used to bash Kerry for his post-war activities. They only reconciled in the 90's. Obviously McCain knows what these vets are talking about. He shouldn't be standing in the way of their voices being heard.

Zell Miller (Sen GA) describes a clubby atmosphere in the Senate in his recent book. I have read in the past where Orin Hatch and Ted Kennedy are really quite friendly off the Senate floor. I guess that is all well and good. I'd hate to see them beating each other with canes and all.

But, the bedrock of John Kerry's campaign is his Vietnam service. If that is at worst case a lie and at best case a little exaggerated; should he be able to attain the highest office in the land on quesiotnable credentials?

I'm sorry Senator McCain, I don't see where this is dirty politics. Let both sides of the story be told and then let the people judge at the ballot box.

You know I never liked McCain,
but politicaly it maybe a good thing that the elected republicans are seperating themselves, it gives the left less to attack on, they will have a harder time aying its all dirty politics.

Didn't McCain once claim that his Viet Cong captors tormented him with home front statements by Jane Fonda and John Kerry?

Today on Crossfire they debated the SBV's ad........the Kerry people are saying that the SBV are the same group of vets that defamed McCain and Max Cleland during their campaigns.

How do they get off making these types of statements? I thought this group was formed just to bring the Kerry lies about the war to light. Why would they have formed a group four years ago to attack McCain?

They are also saying that according to the documents the doctor in the ad never treated Kerry.

The ad would never have been made without evidence to back it up, right? So, when does the world get to see the evidence?

Man, you said a mouthful, there!

I damn near idolized this man after all he went through. What a series of shocks he has been over the years. Sad

At www.vnsfvetakerry.com/LetttersPOWS.htm ex-POWs describe how demoralizing it was to have their captors read US media reports about the activities of war protesters, particularly one LTJG John Kerry.

Until they patched up their differences in the early nineties, John McCain is on record stating that he resented Kerry's activities while POWs were still in captivity. Many of those guys still consider it giving aid and comfort to the enemy. [/url]
