There will be a pro Bush rally in Crawford this Saturday. The Heart of Texas Freepers will be putting it on. It was first scheduled by Clear Channel but due to pressure put on Clear Channel it was cancelled. Now the Freepers are going to pick up the slack.
No anti-Cindy Sheehan posters or signs will be allowed. Please, this is not about her. This is to honor all our military and let them know we support them.
Signs like
Home of the free
Because of the brave
are recommended. Or any other patriotic sign.
Rally the troops, boys. It is time for those of us who support the President and our military to be heard.

Boy oh boy oh boy!
How I wish I could go to that one. But I have to work Sat. and it's 500 mi. away but I'd go if I could get off work.
That's only half the state away from my location. hehe Texas is a huge place.
Sure hope they have a great, large turnout for this one.

We are not all from Crawford but we are all from some where.
Date: Veterans Day 2005
Place: Recognizable landmark in your community
Time: You decide
Mission: Community group photo and signatures to be sent out to the active duty military members from your home town.
How: Whatever it takes to get the word out to your towns people.
Contact: You or whoever you find to step up in your home town.
This is a grass roots movement without founders or chapters just set a time & place and get your folks out and then send out your photos and signatures to your hometown troops.
Our troops represent 43,000 zip codes and our goal is to get 43,000 photos taken so every uniformed American gets a photo from their hometown so just keep passing this around in person and cyber space. _________________ Defender of the honor of those in harms way keeping us out of harms way.

The freepers support our troops rally is on!
This is for Saturday, August 13th
Freepers update:
"To: All
We now have an assigned spot where we can gather
There is a field with a lake that is owned by the city. We have been assigned the north end of that field--(closest to the Fina station)
We will be at the intersection of East 4th and Chisolm Trail.
Remember, the law enforcement in Crawford will be very busy, and probably over-extended. Let's make this a very orderly Freep, if at all possible.
If someone can post a map to this location, I would appreciate it.
~snip~
"THIS FREEP IS NOT ABOUT MS SHEEHAN.
THIS IS STRICTLY A RALLY TO LET OUR TROOPS KNOW THERE IS SUPPORT FOR THEM HERE AT HOME"
~snip~
"Crawford FReeper Rally is On!!!
Saturday(8/13) Noon at 4th and Chisolm Tr.
See MAP at Post #150 and basil's update in the previous post.
Hope to see ya and all other Texas FReepers there!"

I would love to go down there and take part but its just too far. But I did something today I have never done, I listened to al franken for two hours and for the last two hours Ive been listening to another idiot named ed shultz(hes new to me). What surprized me is how many sheep call in that are dangerously ignorant. They're getting a lot of milage out of the cindy story and it seems lots of them say they're going down to be with her. This would make for an interesting confrontation and its really important that cindy isnt the subject, Its about thanking our warriors. I cant wait to see the coverage. _________________ MOPAR-BUYER |

Update: New Location
~snip~
"CRAWFORD RALLY TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS LOCATION UPDATE
The Crawford Police have just notified me that our location for the Support the Troops rally has been changed.
Please congregate at the Crawford Civic Center, which is located in the 1000 block of East 4th Street.
Start time remains 12 Noon.
The new site is very near the first site we were assigned, so people going there by mistake should be able to see us and come on over.
Sorry about the last minute changes."

OK, for all of you interested in the Crawfor "We support our troops" rally and information on the "peace" niks stationed outside the Texas White House.
The Texas news reports there are about 100 protestors sitting in the muddy bar ditch with Cindy Sheehan. Assuming that more come in this weekend, perhaps you can count on 200.
Can we not find 300 Americans who are willing to stand up for our troops and their mission? And what does it say about us if we don't? |

On the freepers site:
"Most excellent news!!!
Ch 11 just showed that lame brain in Crawford, waving a cross (with her handlers behind her) as the presidential caravan passed on the road.
THEN they showed tons and TONS of people pouring off busses - coming in to counter the peaceniks! Tomorrow is going to be HUGE! This looks like a massive grassroots movement that will make those pinkos look like pikers, LOL!"
