Gov. Blanco has regained her composure and was just interviewed by phone on FoxNews.
She said she did everything right and passed the ball to the Mayor of N.O. as far as using the buses to get the poor folks out.
She said the Mayor had 'told' her that he had sent buses up and down the streets with police escorts with sirens blaring urging people to get out.
Be interesting to hear from the survivors how many of them saw any of that.
No mention was made of evacuating the hospitals.
She also indicated that the failure of the N.O. police dept. would have to be addressed by the N.O. Police chief.
She may have got an inkling of the grilling headed her way though.

The busses must have doubles (doppleganger?!sp?!)... from what I've seen on the net of the pics of them parked nice and neat in the parking area

Blanco would appear to be to Governorships what Carter was to the POTUS. Inept, clueless, and disastrous.

That reminds me that "Naruto" comes on Cartoon Network next Saturday.
And I heard complete with "CENTERFOLD DOPPLEGANGER!"
Ah well, Tokyo had Godzilla and New Orleans has Nagin and Blanco.
Who could ask for more.
