From my just-arrived Hammacher Schlemmer catalog. Only $108,000. (but I'm sure it includes a "Hero of the Environment" certificate.)

The cars unique stability is derived from its low center of gravity, created by 1,100 lbs. of batteries under the floor, giving it a rollover threshold equivalent to a 5-star National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rating found in the lowest-slung sports cars. It has front and rear disc brakes and coil-over shock absorbers. I can't imagine being pinned in that thing by a rear end collision sitting over 1100 lbs of electrically shorting batteries. 
Reminds me of a submarine disaster account, the worse thing the sailors had to worry about was the batteries. |

It wouldn't take much perhaps a small amount of debris in the road to send this toy aloft.

That's the Tango, company is out of Spokane, WA. Once they get past the custom built phase and these things go in to production, cost will be a lot less.
Saw it, sat in it. Sort of like being on a motorcycle and not having to worry about bugs in your teeth.
