Let us not forget that John Kerry threw his ribbons away.

according to American Heritage Dictionary:

Throw away: to discard, to desert or abandon.

By doing so, He also renounced these precious awards:

According to the American Heritage Dictionary:

to give up by formal announcement, to reject or disown

How can he now claim the honor of being a holder of these awards??

Semantics. He threw away the ribbons and kept the medals. I guess he thinks that we still don't know what the meaning of "IS" is.

He's such a looser...let's hope that he stays that way on Nov. 2

Haven't you heard? Medals and ribbons are absolutely interchangeable. Course I didn't realize that but I was just an enlisted man. What do I know? Wink

So he says he threw his ribbons away. Wait a minute! If they are interchangeable, then he actually threw his medals away. Right?

Confused I'm getting confused.

It must be one of those "voted for it before I voted against it" things.
