Hope this move signals a clean up of the rogues and leakers at State. There are so many at the State Department who work against the President at every turn!

National Intelligence Director John Negroponte will resign his position overseeing the nation's 16 spy agencies to become the deputy secretary of State, administration officials confirmed Wednesday night.
A senior State Department official said the announcement could come as early as this week. The official, and other administration officials who confirmed the appointment, spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement will come from President Bush.
Negroponte's move comes as Bush finalizes a new course for the war in Iraq.
Negroponte, 67, was the first to head the newly created Office of the Director of National Intelligence in 2005.
