Remember 'Mortimer Snerd', the hayseed dummy of ventriloquist Edgar Bergen?
The resemblance to Harry Reid is uncanny. I shall herewith think of him as Senator Mortimer Snerd.

I had a Mortimer Snerd mask in my car back in the early '60s. The thing to do was have it on the back of my head and when someone came barreling up behind me on the LA freeways, to stick my head out the window. All the idiot sees is some maniac looking directly back at him. Some great reactions. Well, half the fun of being a snipe is doing something outrageous for the benefit of an unsuspecting public.
