Thank you for posting this powsmias.
I think this man was done an injustice by a system mired in political correctionism. Lt. Col. West has my respect and admiration.

I remember when this took place. It was all over talk radio in support of him. He is the type of officer you hoped you would serve under.

Absolutely this is the kind of commander you want to have. My only question is, how did he get to be a Lt. Col. (05) without the lobotomy that the Army requires for 04 and above? Twisted Evil

(Based on observation. Disclaimer: In my 8 years of service I found two 04s and one 05 who managed to evade the lobotomy requirement, and 5 or 6 03s who probably did as well.)

I remember this guy. I believe he should go into congress and fire a few rounds by the heads of some of the libs there. Waterboarding of a different kind! Laughing

I'll second that....hopefully he can take over for Murtha on the Armed Services Committee. This will help:

Quote:
The Army has thrown out the conviction of the only officer court-martialed in the Abu Ghraib scandal, bringing an end to the four-year investigation and drawing complaints from human rights activists of a Pentagon whitewash.

Lt. Col. Steven L. Jordan was cleared this week of any criminal wrongdoing by Maj. Gen. Richard J. Rowe...

now the only heads exploding are the communists at the ACLU and Amnasty International, who for some reason still have their panties in a twist!

It's an automatic waiver on the lobotomy if you're a Mustang. Wink
