New York Times: Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap, Who Ousted U.S. From Vietnam, Is Dead

He lost every major engagement against our Troops, but is credited with ousting us?

Reuters labeling him the "Red Napoleon" says, "Vo Nguyen Giap, the self-taught Vietnamese general who masterminded the defeats of France and the United States...."

The Washington Post claims, "Vo Nguyen Giap, the Vietnamese military commander and national folk hero who organized the army that defeated the French and then the Americans in 30 years of Southeast Asian warfare, is dead. That war ended in 1975 when the last remaining U.S. military forces evacuated Saigon, leaving behind a war-torn and battle-scarred nation, united under Communist rule."

That there was only Embassy personnel escapes them, US Troops having left back in 1973.

And they wonder why so many Vietnam Veterans despise the media

Of all those who helped orchestrate the POLITICAL win for the Communists in Vietnam and Cambodia, Giap ranks second only to Genghis Fraud Kerry in puffed up "military hero" credentials.
