This is a long-standing agreement with 54 other countries that we've had in place since 1990.

This same group monitored our last mid-term elections.

The way the press is covering it, they are trying to tie it in to the UN intervention called for by the socialists in our Congress (they call it the Progressive Caucus)

The request sent to the UN was denied.

These two issues do not interface at all.

I know there is hysteria all over the place about this, but it is routine.

Other countries come here to observe our process and compare it with theirs.

Vast distortion by the media - which conveniently makes it appear as if our President has lost a scuffle and the Dems who requested UN MONITORING have won.
