Permission to come aboard:

AF E-7 (Ret), 1957-1981, GCI, Intelligence Data Handling, Base Level Data Ops, tours in North Africa, Turkey, Japan, five stateside assignments. Proudly served with my 6 other brothers = WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and proud to be associated with the best bunch of men and women on the planet, at this site and all the other anti-Kerry websites.

As of last night, watching O'Reilly is no longer one of my TV viewing priorities and the email I sent him stated my disgust over the remarks he, Dick Morris and even Newt Gingrich made about the Swift Vets while dumping them into the same cesspool with MoveOn.org.
In the last couple weeks he and the other analysts at Fox and elsewhere have not shown much interest in doing any investigative fact gathering surrounding this intense anti-Kerry movement but would rather rely on the statements of people who "served directly with Kerry" and BS press releases. O'Reilly has become a self-promoter ala Kerry and gets a cheap nut over the antics of Teresa Heinz. He admires her and feels Mr. Heinz is a hero; fine....he can preach that rot to all who wants to listen. I'm oughta there!!
My choice at Fox is Brit Hume and although he hasn't a clue about the depth and intensity of the military brotherhood, he is willing to bring on military people, active and retired, to ask questions without the cynicism and jaundiced attitude of people like O'Reilly.

I enjoy reading all the comments here and support the Swift Vets 10,000 percent.

Perhaps if the O'Reilly had a no spin zone in 1971 their wouldn't be a 2004 Kerry candidacy. Assuming that O'Reilly hadn't lost his ability to be objective which apparently is AWOL when looking at the case the swift boat vets have built against Kerry.

My e-mail as sent 1 minute ago:

Bill

I've been a hugh fan for some time now. That's changing. I support the Swift Vets as should all Americans who have a historical point of reference and a memory of how shabbily the Viet Nam vets were treated. I am 100% sure that their side of the facts will be proven and that John Kerry will be exposed for the lack of character, integrity and moral courage which he demonstrated in his anti war rhetoric.

Signed,

Anonymous Viet Nam Era Veteran volunteer.

I encourage all here to do the same.

It's clear. The media, and career politicians, on both sides generally don't like private citizens invading their turf.

Keep at it, Swiftvets. Time to change the way news is created and distributed to the public, and the control thereof!

In the past, I had beaucoup problems emailing FoxNews shows....kept getting something like "addressee not available" or some such. After numerous attempts trying to get Viewer Services to correct the problem got ZIP results, I emailed Viewer Services one more time with CC's to every show. Miraculously, the prob cleared. Unfortunately, the daily show schedule comes too late to be usable. Some troll in Viewer Services must be PO'd at me!! Twisted Evil

Could be their server is too constip......busy with email traffic.

I sent an email to O'Reilly and it got thru. I'm sure he's been deluged. He whoosed out this week. He talks about fighting back when one feels maligned, but he's become weak kneed on this issue. Keep pouring the pressure on.

Go Air Force!!! Medics, we're there when you need us.

If you post something here on the site please consider copying it to news outlets. Were largely preaching to the choir here. A few hundred emails a day demanding that the MSM research our allegations will have a huge impact.

There are lists of email addresses available here in the forum. I provided a link to a good one at Little Green Footballs a few days ago.

Copy the Bush/Cheney campaign, The RNC, and White House. Let's don't the press or other opponents of Kerry hide either.

Maybe we should take a page from the Michael Moore play book on documentaries.

Membership sends admin e-mail that couldn't get delivered to Mr. O. Admin with camera person in tow visit Mr. O at Fox to deliver the e-mail that couldn't get through. That video could be good for a new commercial exposing media bias against Swift Boat Veterans for TRUTH.

Give him a little time. Once he gets on board, he'll take it and run with it.

I get just as disgusted with Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and others. None of these guys have served in the military, and therefore, they don't know the right questions to ask.

It would have been so easy for Hannity to have asked Rassman, "Since you were in the Army, and not the Navy, just how long were you on Kerry's boat?" That would have laid it all out for a lot of uninformed people right there.

Limbaugh tends to go on and on, assuming that the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth is a Republican organization. That's shallow and unfair. He has no clue how seriously most military officers take their responsibilty to both tell the truth, and also to NOT use their rank or status to try to politically sway their troops. If you don't understand that, you cannot fully appreciate how remarkable this group and their message is.

I've always watched O'Reilly with my guard up, and this is why. I won't watch him anymore, unless he makes a BIG apology to the SWIFT Vets He never served in the military, and never had his heinie on the line, and knows not of what he speaks. Comparing these Vets to the socialist america haters like moore and soros is totally outrageous and inexcusable. These Vets are so far more believable than kerry, there isn't even any comparrison. For O'Reilly to dismiss them that way is shameful.

As for morris and gingrich. morris is a political whore who will work for anyone so long as the cash on the dresser is legit. His reputation is well documented so honestly being criticized by him I think is a good thing.

As for gingrich, I lost respect for him a long time ago. He, like john mccain, divorced his long time wife when she had serious medical problems, and married some hot little babe that made a good political wife.

They both have about as much credibility anymore as kerry himself does. NADA!

ArmyWife, I don't know, I've listened to Limbaugh all the past couple weeks and he's disputed the accusations that the SBVT were a Republican funded deal. He's been just about the most ardent hard line supporter of SBVT from what all I've heard, and he's really gotten on to people that smear them and try to discount their truths about kerry.
