Can you help me understand what a "sensitive" war would be like? Would that entail baby pink submarines that launch water balloons?

Now, if any of us are in an airplane and a person of Middle Eastern origin (that's the sensitive term for what we would prefer to call a "raghead," "terrorist," or "sand Nazi") takes out a boxcutter, begins to slash up the flight attendant, and proclaims his intention to seize the controls and crash the aircraft into a skyscraper, the inclination of most of us would be to beat his head in and probably kill him. This reaction, however, is racist and insensitive. (I like the way Michael Savage pronounces "insensitive" in a wheedling tone.)

Instead, we must be sensitive to the cultural background of this person of Middle Eastern origin. We must disavow the racist belief that Euro-American culture, which upholds the human rights of individuals along with individual freedom, is somehow superior to a culture that treats women as property and proclaims all unbelievers to be "infidel pigs" who must be converted or killed. (This includes the wrong "kinds" of Muslims, by the way.)

Certainly, using physical violence against the rag--- excuse me, person of Middle Eastern origin who is slashing the flight attendant would be a primitive, racist, and male-dominated response that should be avoided. Instead, one should try to reason with him calmly and ask politely that he respect our culture, which does not approve of slashing an innocent person even though his does. We must recognize that he is a product of his cultural environment so he is not responsible for his actions and, anyway, his culture is as good as ours and it is racist and Eurocentric to judge it inferior in any way.

Just think, if we elect John Kerry, we will all have to take sensitivity training before we board any aircraft, lest we be tempted to act out our racist and Eurocentric beliefs on any hijacker who pulls a knife or a boxcutter on the crew and passengers.

Rumsfeld recently stated that no war was ever won by being sensitive.

Kerry is just an idiot, he would say anything that he thought his audience wanted to hear.

I believe Kerry ,without saying so, means the U.S. has to take the blame for all the terrorism in the world.

After all, we have never corrected the underlying causes, which are poverty, radical Islamists, despotic rulers,etc.

It is the common theme of the left to echo the sentiments of a lot of Middle Eastern spokesmen after 9-11 that it is OUR misguided foreign policy that caused 9-11. In other words, we deserved it.

"Sensitive" means we go back to waiting until we are attacked, then lob a few cruise missiles into the desert somewhere and proudly state, "That'll teach 'em." Then go back to ignoring the threat until next time.

Sound familiar? Like 1992-2000?
