Is there a transcript somewhere of what is said in the ad for those of us who can't hear? |

John Forbes Kerry said: "They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam." - John F. Kerry (Testifying before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations 04/22/71)
Stop and consider just what would have been the outcome of the Vietnam War had what John Forbes Kerry claimed to have taken place actually took place. If each of us soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen (regardless of branch of service) did what Kerry admits to have done - under oath - then every Vietnamese man would have had portable telephone wires taped to his genitals and had the power turned up, ever Vietnamese woman would have been personally raped, then every Vietnamese man, woman, and child would have had their ears cut off, then their heads cut off, then their bodies blown up, then every Vietnamese village would have been razed in the fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, then their cattle and dogs would have been shot for fun, then their food stock would have been poisoned, and then we would have generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.
If we each has done these things then there wouldn't be 58,178 names on the WALL, and 2,370 +/- servicemen would not still be MIA!
For the ABB crowd: "YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE; FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN, AND BE HEALED."
For all Vets for TRUTH! "BUT BLESSED ARE YOUR EYES, BECAUSE THEY SEE; AND YOUR EARS, BECAUSE THEY HEAR. _________________ "Win the Delta Come Hell or High Water!"

The new propaganda line as per Congressman Spratt (D) on FOX is:
"It's interesting they've (SwiftVets) switched their focus from Kerry's war record which was successfully defended."
WTF? |

WTF?!
Who says we are going to stop running the first ad? That first ad is highly effective and together make a nice 1-2 punch.

Yeah, I heard that already. Talk on the new ad and the defender says, well looks like they've given up on trying to smear his war record and now they are going to try THIS. (words to that effect) And I thought, given up? Talk all over the TV with clips still on "that topic" -- SORRY guy. |

They are in SUCH denial! It's almost fun to watch them twitch defending the party line.
An interesting point to ponder is: How many DEMOCRATS are going to get caught in the backlash of defending Kerry as collateral damage?

Folks dont get too excited, Joh Kerry has a bombshell response that the swiftvets will not be able to recover from:
"I'm John Kerry, and I stand before the American people today and want you all to remain calm. You know the claims made by the swiftboat veterans are completely false. You know they are false and I would not lie because my intials are J.F.K. and I HAVE BETTER HAIR" |

JOHN KERRY (voiceover): ...raised villages in a fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Kahn...
PAUL GALANTI: John Kerry gave the enemy for free what I and many of my comrades in North Vietnam in the prison camps took torture to avoid saying. (voiceover) It demoralized us.
JOHN KERRY (voiceover): ...crimes committed on a day to day basis...
KEN CORDIER: How could we support him now when he betrayed us in the past?
JOHN KERRY (voiceover): ...ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam...

The ad is absolutely devastating, but how about adding this graphic to the end:
"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President ... having previously taken an oath ... to support the Constitution of the United States, [who has] engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."
- United States Constitution, Fourteenth Amendment, Section III |

I am not a veteran (too young for Vietnam, too old for Gulf I), but I want to thank the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth for exposing John Kerry for the self-glorifying liar and traitor that he was, and is.
I am a loyal supporter of President Bush, for his vigorous reaction to the 9/11 attacks, and for many other reasons, but I believe that the SBVT has struck a nerve by reminding "younger" voters (like myself) who had not made the connection between John Kerry the anti-war radical traitor of 1971 and Senator John Kerry, campaigning for President as a "decorated veteran". I am 48 years old now, but I was only 14 when John Kerry falsely accused our soldiers in Vietnam before the Senate, and was naively unaware of what he had done. Most voters my age or younger (about half the electorate) are similarly ignorant of Kerry's treachery, and might be fooled into voting for him for one of his empty promises.
I believe that The SECOND ad is more effective than the first, because people might be able to quibble about Kerry's medals because "official" Navy records (written by Kerry, for Kerry) tend to support Kerry's lies.
I just have a few questions:
Are you planning to run the ads in some larger "swing states", such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and especially Florida, where so many military people are based?
Do you plan on running a third ad, which could remind voters that Kerry's Senate testimony and negotiating with the enemy led to the slaughter of millions of South Vietnamese, and then ask voters what would President Kerry (God forbid!) do to Iraq and Afghanistan?
What can a non-veteran from a non-swing state (CT) do to help your cause, other than donate money (I've already donated $150)?
Thank you, Swift Boat Veterans, for your admirable service, and for standing up for the truth. _________________ The traitor will crater! |

(we were about the same age at the same time - I'm a non-vet, too -- but my brother served in Nam, so I learned a lot of stuff from him and saw what he had to go thru when he came back....). Call stores & get the book /hound them to order the book! they are not putting it out - email the media, especially whenever any of them lie or distort the truth - don't give the media a pass, I think this is paramount. |

Hmm, looks like about one third of our reps need to resign right now.
