Eyewitness account from James Rassmann also details the fact that PCF-94 and other boats were under fire . In March of 2004, Rassmann, a registered Republican who had not seen Kerry in more than 30 years before their reunion in Iowa this year, recalled the following: “Viet Cong snipers fired at him, and Rassmann submerged over and over to avoid being hit. The bullets came from both banks, and Rassmann had nowhere to go. He began thinking his time had come, but the fifth time he came up, he saw the convoy had turned around. Kerry had ordered the boats back to pick up the man overboard. Kerry's boat, under heavy fire, sidled up to the struggling soldier. Rassmann tried to scramble up a cargo net at the bow but was too exhausted to make it all the way. He clung to the net as bullets whizzed past.” [Los Angeles Times, 3/13/04] |
ding ding ding
Kerry was in charge of a fleeing CONVOY who HE ORDERED to return for Rassmann??????????
That's got to be what, the 5th 6th version from them?
Bloggers, compile a list of Rassmanns versions and Kerry's versions of events. Compare and contrast. _________________ American Conservative |

"....Rassmann was seated next to the pilothouse..., munching a chocolate chip cookie that he recalls having "ripped off from someone's Care package." "
"Met Kerry at a party." ripping off cookies from care packages.... Cool move, Rassmann....
Have any of Rassmann's colleagues been contacted about who he is? He's JK's main man. Is he a rock-solid honorable and truthful man?? |

What bothers me about the article is the headline "Critics Fail to Disprove Kerry's Version of Vietnam War Episode".
Hold it here. It should have read:
Kerry fails to prove his version of Vietnam War Episode.
The burden of proof is NOT ON THOSE who question.
It is on those who stand by changing stories.
Someone needs to point out that the WP article assumed Kerry was telling the truth, dissected the tales in disagreement and failed to make the obvious deduction that Kerry has the burden of proof of his story.
Those who question his character and his truthfulness need only pose the question.
Kerry must answer it.
The WP gave him a pass on that. |
