Do you realize that when the press ignored the original Swiftvets press conference last spring, they smugly assumed that no one was going to listen to "those liars", and therefore they had won that battle? Had thay addressed the situation earlier, they might have had more time, and more luck, in fighting off these claims and would not be in such a panic now.

I think God is on the Swifties side.

I think it is good for individuals to call upon God for guidance in seeking the truth in all matters, including that of political affairs. I do, however, think it is presumptious to assume that God has taken a side.

I think it is wonderful that Kerry just assumed that only a few of the people he has betrayed over the years would put up any kind of fuss.

I don't think it ever occurred to him that people's memories ran so deep or that their passions could be so aroused and fueled, again.

His sense of "entitlement" at work. Rolling Eyes

I'm not hazarding a guess as to who's side God might be on, but something good and honest and courageous and righteous is finally getting the attention it deserves.

I'm moving this to the geedunk in a bit - let's keep the front page for promoting the Swifts message and discussion of Swifts' news and such, okay?

Well I beleive President Bush is doing things right if he was'nt then all hell wouldnt be coming against him. God does work in mysterious ways and he is always in controll. God Bless the USA and the Swiftvets Smile

Sorry, my folks used to drag me off to church every Sunday where
I discovered the neat stuff in Judges, Samuel, Kings, etc. I just
couldn't resist the temptation.

Actually Tina, my folks packed me off to military school for 3 years -
8th through 10th grade - founded by an evangelical preacher. We
used to get 2-2 1/2 hour chapels where he would preach straight out
of the old testament. Lots of smiting hip and thigh and destroying
them utterly stuff and not much turning the other cheek at all. That
was where I learned how to sleep at attention with my eyes open.
