On Kerry's own Senate website (www.senate.gov) Kerry states he served 2 tours of duty as a Swift Boat Commander in the Mekong Delta. Am I missing something? How do you pack two tours into a 3 month time period (with the first month learning how to drive a Swift Boat)? The site reads:
"As a Vietnam veteran, I have experienced firsthand the horrors of war. I served two tours of duty, commanding a swift boat in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta as a member of the U.S. Navy..."
You can either look-up Kerry at senate.gov and look under WORK IN CONGRESS/ISSUES/VETERANS or goto: http://kerry.senate.gov/bandwidth/issues/veterans.html
Would love to get some clarification.
Cheers,

Just checked the website and low and behold, it's there! That guy is such a liar, even he doesn't know the truth when he sees, speaks, hears it. |

Yes, we've got many discussions on these boards about the "two tours" issue.
I really think that guy believes that he spent three years of grueling duty aboard the Gridley and another year humping a ruck through the jungles. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
