The democrazys are counting on the noise from the swiftvets to be drowned out during the Republican Convention next week. We need to make sure we are ready to release a bombshell after the convention so that we can bring the conversation back to where it should be. Let's don't let the media off the hook with this one. I just hope the swiftees are ready with a doozy of an ad to release after the convention. _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |

Actually, I recommend lauching the next ad right when Kerry sits down for his Russert interview. Great time for an ambush. Give them something to talk about--instead of the prepared questions. |

Well, get to work on researching a bombshell!
As for me, I think the Swifts have done an amazing job so far and I'm trusting them to continue to do whatever they have planned - my heart is not troubled.
They have my complete faith that this issue will not long be out of the public eye. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

The Swiftees are not amazing. They are honorable and truthful.
The truth is a powerful weapon. Consider the truth to be like an M16. It is a simple weapon, that has been around for a long time now. It is reliable and accurate if properly handled.
We know and understand this effort to be grass roots. Grass roots efforts often get polished along the way as they fall and rise to the occasion.
The Swiftees are up against professionals. I just hope their is a war room somewhere with a very strategic plan; taking everything into consideration. Not just bopping around to every news anchor that will listen to them and hoping that truth is enough.
Yes the truth always prevails, I just want to make sure it does so before the first week in November. |

Navy,
In case you have not seen me post this comment I would like to repeat it. Over the last couple of days the Kerry camp has been pressing this issue of the Congressional testimony. Saying that SBVT's 2nd ad was taken out of context. That Kerry was merely stating what others had said to him. No one is reminding him of what he said to Dick Cavett where he said "I too" committed the acts. Those soundbites and videos of him saying that need to be quickly placed for Americans to see. Otherwise they are going to be successful in having the public thinking that he never said that he himself engaged in such activities. Then they ask him when and where and with whom. Maybe he did it with the guys who served under him. _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living. If we get to a point where we choose not to go out because of fear, our economy will sink and in the end so will our nation. Vote Bush. |

I'm sure that's of great comfort to the POWs. Gee, if only they had told their captors that Kerry's remarks were out of context, the torture would have eased up... |

I sure don't plan to let down during the convention. I had said somewhere before that I plan to tape most of it and watch it the following week. If a lot of people do that, there won't be any let down. One has nothing to do with the other and I believe that kerry will be sorely mistaken if he thinks that the Republican convention will give him a break from the heat. It's only two months away, the heat needs to be added to and added to and added to some more until he totally breaks under the pressure. He's already cracking. Personally attacking your enemies instead of debating the issues they challenge you with is the surest way to tell that you have someone scared, and backed into a corner. When you can't deny what someone accuses you of, because you know it's true, just attack their character and dig for dirt in their personal life. The SBVT challenges him based on his military record, his political record, and his character, and he responds by attacking them personally, and looking for any private part of their lives to turn against them. What a class act. I see the smear campaign he's doing as yet another good reason he shouldn't be President. Bush never resorted to attacking his critics personally, he debated the issues, and let people say what they wanted about him personally, even though he knew it wasn't true. Checkmate. |
