The Sun-Times report had a quote from an expert source saying the "V" is an indication of a "fake" SS. Clearly, it is not authorized. What I haven't seen is any analysis of exactly what this means. So, here are some questions:

1. Is anyone saying that JK was never awarded the SS and that the entire medal is a fake?
2. If the medal is legit, how the heck did the "V" get there?
3. What is the real reason for the multiple citations?
4. Is the "V" itself a crime?
5. Would release of the 180 docs answer some of these questions and is that why only 6 pages of JK docs have been released?
6. I've seen references to the second and third citations. What about the original citation? Is that anywhere?
7. What are the differences in the citation versions?
8. If the medal was awarded legitimately, is JK responsible for correcting the "V" error?

I apologize in advance if any of these questions have already been covered or appear to be a little thick. There is so much data flying around (between Unfit for Command, this board, news reports, etc) that it is tough to keep track of everything without a score card.

Although, even if my questions do appear to be a little thick, I don't think many in the MSM have bothered to ponder them.

This bogus "V" for Valor along with Former Sec. Nav. Lehman's disputing the citation on kerry's record which he states very plainly and clearly he NEVER signed or saw, pretty well indicates that mr. kerry's Silver Star is yet another bogus medal which he never should have gotten. So now he has only a Purple Heart and one Bronze Star which haven't been totally proven to be unearned. But I wouldn't be surprised if there are facts here that I either haven't seen or have forgotten because there is so much deceit with kerry, which disproves him also. The Navy or the DOD needs to strip him of those medals. There's more than enough concrete evidence to support the action of stripping him of those medals. Men have gone to jail for doing far less than what kerry has clearly done when it comees to fraudulent medals and citations. He's already been a U.S. Senator for 19 years in violation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which proves that he is totallyinelligable to even run for President. At some point the same law that all of us and President Bush are forced to adhear to must be made to apply to mr. kerry. There's a first time for everything and far as I have seen, the law has never been made to apply to that man. He blatantly broke Campaign Finance Law last weekend, and he voted to have that bill passed into law, but it's obvious no charges will be filed or fines assessed. How does he get away with breaking so many laws for so many decades? Doesn't anyone in authority somewhere have a set that will put their foot down and file some charges? Senators are NOT above the law!
