Have I missed it or has the research been done:
Is anyone aware of any other Vietnam Vets who left service under the three Purple Heart rule?
I would be curious to know how many other servicemen were discharged under the same circumstancesas Kerry.
I think it would be fascinating to see the extent of injury and records of any other three Purple Hearters compared with the injuries of the Senator.

My father in law got three PHs and he never know such a rule existed.
He was in the Army and said the PHs he knew about were awarded for serious wounds requiring evacuation and hospitalization. |

Many a REALLY brave vet, like Lt.Col Oliver North, got two Purple Hearts, and deliberately turned down two more so that he could stay with his Marines God bless him! By all rights, Good old Ollie has FOUR Purple Hearts! And he really bled for his. Unlike some lying b******s. |
