Another website quoted Carl Limbacher of "Newsmax.com" as saying that the Navy is investigating the alterations of Kerry's Silver Star citation-there are apparently three versions of the citation, one of which was signed by John Lehman some years after the fact; and, Lehman has stated he knew nothing of the change and didn't authorize the change.
Can anyone confirm/deny the Navy investigation? What might it lead to?

I doubt very seriously that the Navy is investigating this.
Not with a ten foot titanium pole.
Certainly not until after the election - and maybe not even then. We'll just have to see.
