My view is somewhat different.
Kerry paint's two different pictures of himself, one for
Massachusetts liberals, and, only recently, one for the rest
of the US.. Kerry's dishonorable stunts made sense when Kerry was contemplating running for elected office from Mass. in the 1970s 80s.
Today, when informed of Kerry's past, and Kerry's current unwillingness
to respond to the straightforward challenges from the swiftvets,
many people are disturbed. |

Also...
Massachusetts liberals know that the 'Kerry II' image is misleading,
but perfectly OK with them, they know that's part of what Kerry needs to do to get elected.
Mass liberals* think that anyone who says they believe the 'Kerry II'
image is: lying, uninformed-indifferent, or a moron.
