Howard Dean was dead the minute he said, publicly, that his first act after gaining the nomination would be to fire Terry McAulliffe. But your theory still makes sense. Dean was unacceptable to anyone who wanted to actually win *or* to lose narrowly - because he would have lost badly no matter what.
Personally, I believe the DNC and Terry genuinely would prefer to beat Bush, but won't lose much sleep if they don't, knowing their big gun would be available in 2008. _________________ -- Bill in Seattle |

They could be just playing dazed and confused until they figure out what to do next. |

Are the SBVTs really funded by the Clintons?
Well, a little maybe so...it works to their advantage but who knows. I remember the 3rd party candidate in '80, John Anderson funded by Reagan.
Certainly the Kerry is shuffling officials and completely discombobulated. Clinton could bald face lie about the 'bimbo eruptions'. Kerry can't face the SBVT.
Paraphrasing to Kerry: I knew a good liar and you're not a good liar.
(Anyone explain why he wasn't drummed from today's VFW sh*t shoveling?) |
