Kerry's surrogates never tire of saying, "The swiftvet claims have been proven false." I'm sure they believe if they say it over and over a few weak minded will actually believe it. A good counter ad, could stress Kerry's many versions of events. Suggested text:

'John Kerry claims all 250 swftboat vets are lying about his record, but whose story keeps changing? "

Kerry first claimed to have been in Cambodia on Christmas Eve 1968, even his own campaign admits that's not true. He has told three different versions of the Rassman Incident. His own journal entries conflict with Kerry's most recent claims. etc. etc.

The Ad closes with, "When you're telling the truth, the story never changes."

Kerry's quotes in white are superimposed on the picture used in the 2nd ad. (Kerry Sound clips as available).

Obviously it might need some polishing, but I think pointing out Kerry's many contridictions, would be an effective counter to his propoganda

Hi,
I was not a swiftie but on the USCGC Wachusett WHEC-44 who supported six swift boats off of our cutter. We spent time in area #9 (south of the delta) (as well as area #1-#Cool area one was DMZ and did escort for NEW JERSEY with Team 5. Anyway we did some "off chart" runs south of #9 supporting team #3 and #5. Since Kerry was from Mass was he on #2 or #4 or what ? We were in country in 68' & 69'. Do any of you guys remember us ? We went by Swingin' Kingdom Zulu.
I wondered if his boat was with us at some time. We did a lot of support shoots up and down the coast with a 5"-38. We had a Marine spotter in an L-19 Birddog name of "Charlie Noble". Wanted to say hi and thanks, you have nuts !! xbikerbobx

How about McAuliffe to Kerry: "Senator Kerry, I am afraid you have awakened a sleeping veteran giant."

Parphrase of Admiral Yamamoto after he led the attack at Pearl Harbor and realized they made one hell (Zell) of a mistake.
