|

http://www.johnkerry.com/commentary/081004_rassmann.html
Rassmann's demonstrably false story of the 3/13/04 incident is still posted on the Kerry website. The link to it is on the front page!
Even if you give Rassmann and the Kerry the benefit of the doubt and agree that they at least "thought" they were being shot at (and you don't have time to enquire why there isn't at least some physical evidence of 5000 meters of small arms fire), someone please explain why this is simply not a bold face lie.
Quote: | When I surfaced, all the swift boats had left, |
We know this is false. Rassmann's own updated story to the Washington Post said that this is false. Everyone present that day, the after action reports, and all citations that the MSM seem to think are the holy grail, say that this statement is false.
So why is it still on the website? If everyone knows it is false, and it is still repeated, then that makes it a lie. Why is this lie acceptable? (This is the Wall Street Journal article that was printed what? 6 weeks ago? That we all know, by Rassmann's own admission is a lie. Yet the Swift Boat Vets have been "looked into and shown to be baseless"?)
This is the BS Kerry had been peddling for years. BS that we and everyone knows is BS! Man, I get angry at this. How so many people can collectively push a lie is beyond me.
It's right there! It's right there on the website!!!!!!
How can anyone miss this? _________________ Talking point #1: Sign 180

I saw it too, I am one of those they count as looking at the Kerry site,
cept I have been able to bypass the new log in and don't give any money.
I too can't believe the Rassman "story" is still there too. But if they took
everything that was false or embellished off, would there be anything left? |

I was wondering about the 3 boat also..... they should make more boats like that..... mine proof!
kerry site: if they took out all the lies, it'd be a blank page....
watch out signing into that site.... I got the sign in one the other day but didn't sign in.... tried again a few minutes later and the original homepage was there - no sign in....
they're getting a large # of hits because of all of us looking stuff up! |
