I don't doubt that Clinton needed heart surgery, but the timing was sure strange seeing the news broke the day after the Republican convention. If it wasn't for the hurricane in Florida and the terrorist attack in Russia, this is all we would have heard about. Instead of hearing more about the convention, we hear Hillary stating how thankful she is that they had health insurance. First Clinton releases his book right before Kerry's convention, then he has heart surgery right after Bush's convention. This is twice during this campaign he has drawn attention to himself, not to mention every store you go to has multitudes of his book with his face staring at you, reminiscient of Big Brother. What are the Clintons up to? What's going to happen during the debates? This all seems too strange to just be a coincidence......... |

I agree... I bet that just before the election the SOB dies and really takes the attention. _________________ USN 78-84 STS1(SS) USS George C. Marshall SSBN 654(G)

Hmmmm timing....Well the best thing that can happen is for Bush to pull Osama out of that closet where he's had him hid! Just kidding, but that has been a pretty pesty rumor. Wouldn't it be great, though... |

Um, look at it the other way. Clinton was paying CLOSE attention to the convention. So close that he realized Kerry was truely sunk.
Anyone remember Sanford & Son ? The visual I got was from that show - Redd Foxx clutching his chest and saying "Here I come...." _________________ Why ask? Because it needs asking. |

To paraphrase Susan Estrich: "the Clintons suck the air out of any room they walk into".
They are trying to wreck Kerry, not the Republicans.
What I don't understand is how the Clintons think that they are the Answer. _________________ A willing tool of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" since 1981. |

Prediction:
About two weeks, we start hearing about "complications".
Occasional "Touch and Go" reports for another few weeks.
About a week before the election, Clinton starts regaining his strength.
November 2nd, MSM covers Clinton makes miraculous Lazarus/Jesus impersonation to show up at a polling booth.
I wish i could find a bookie for that last sentence. _________________ said Democratic Chairman Terry McAuliffe. "It is inexcusable to mock service and sacrifice."
well, when even the DNC can see it,,,,, then kerry is toast. |

This topic is beginning to slide into a direction that is not good. We want to maintain the high road here, please keep it civil and do not post comments that will show up elsewhere and put the Swift Boat vets in a bad light. _________________ U.S. Army 1983-1995, 11C1P/11H2P NBTDT |

Yep, that's a hard thing to keep in mind - we're not just chatting with like-minded friends, here.

I bet that a lot of Clintonistas will pull the lever for Bush this election. They may sound like they are on the same side as Kerry but when the end game is power nobody is going to stand in the Clinton's way. _________________ Never Ever Give Up

Here's an irony for you...
Hillary would be a better president then Kerry.
She's more decisive, has more backbone and is a better executive. _________________ 13F20P |

I sadly have to agree, Billary would own Kerry. _________________ John Kerry, R.I.P. (Rot In Paris) |
