Has anyone else noticed he gesture Kerry makes with his hands at the end of his rallies? He puts them together in a praying position and bows his head; very reminicent of the gesture used by Orientals and Sub continent Indians. Maybe too much time spent with the North Vietnamese talking strategy about anti war protests Rolling Eyes

Yes, I've noticed that too. I figure it must be a signal to somebody.

yes, I posted something about it somewhere on this forum.... he also bows his head... I thought maybe one of his people was holding a mirror in front of him.... so he could see himself bow to himself! Teresa also does this.... they also clap for themselves, notice that?

Maybe he thinks we'll all bow to him if he becomes president? throw rotten eggs would be more like it... I'm not saving my eggs - don't expect him to make it....

And what's with his "black power" salute as he goes on and off the stage?!?!

Both my husband and I noted the awkwardness of his power fist gesture. Looks like he's trying to make a statement - the same with the "bowing". Is he making a multi-cultural diversity statement here?

I believe that is a commie salute. Sometimes you can see him abort it before he completes it as if someone has told him to not use it.

IMHO, a bow or a raised fist is a more appropriate gesture for him than the hand salute he rendered at the DNC. Didn't anyone ever tell him that Naval personnel do not salute uncovered?

I thought it was stolen from Johnnie Carson.

As he walks through the crowd or approaches the podium, that pointing his finger at people in the crowd and giving thumbs up is an act. It is taught in public speaking classes. Hiliary and Bill also use it. They focus on some complete stranger in the crowd point smile wave... It looks good on TV. The stranger is at first bewildered but them flattered. He usually plays along...
