No, turned to football because once I saw that they were having a press conference I kept having thoughts about what I had on hand to throw through my TV. _________________ US Army Security Agency

If you have a pet cat, that can be a good choice. It's entertaining even if you miss. |

All I could think of before turning it off was how could so many intelligent people be so foolish as to believe and support Kerry.

I saw one of them on Bor'eilly the other night, what a jerk. The second wave of antiwar protestors has risen from hell thanks to Kerry. I'm sure half of them had mental problems before any of this came up and the other half are paid off. They aren't getting away with it this time. |

Anyone who watched the event could not say what Ivan said. Would you place in context. I shut the TV off as soon as the rally was over. It was powerful and moving and shallow people like Medina have no idea what they are up against. |

----> As a result of the rally (which was enormously powerful) I signed up here and donated to the ad campaign. Then CSpan began airing the "suits in conference room" segment. Honestly, I couldn't watch it.
It’s not my place to ever speak poorly of any Veteran, including Kerry. However, I do feel that his post-service efforts were a disgrace, not only to his fellow Veteran’s, but to all of America. He and “Hanoi Jane” went beyond exercising their freedom of speech when they went to the enemy.
I hope that every single POW or Vietnam Veteran that ever suffered from their words knows that there are many MANY Americans who don’t feel the same way. My parents raised me to honor Veterans and to be grateful for their sacrifices. I just can’t see voting Kerry into office. Not based on his service, but based on his actions and words after his service.

Kerry Press Conf:
Goodness - I think someone needs to listen to this -- someone with a stronger stomach than I. I listened to a little bit & had to mute it. There are two soldiers from Iraq on, and one is saying that his commander told him before he went that no matter what Bush said, the only reason they were going there was for "oil" and it had nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction or democracy, but only oil, and that they had to go because they signed a contract. They both are saying in essence that the war has no purpose, and that their buddies are dying over there and that we have to bring the troops home now.
DEJA DEJA VUUUUUU anyone? Are the returning Iraq soldiers next going to report to the Foreign Relations Committee driven in the back of the SUV kerry doesn't have???? He just won't stop, will he? What does this do to the morale of our military if kerry ramps this activity up a notch??
Sorry - this is a happy happy day with O'Neill on with this book and also with our wonderful rally -- but behind the scenes, this kerry stuff is going on and we need to keep watch on it, I suppose..... |

As much as we all dislike the news conference C-Span is at least trying to be impartial and let both sides speak. Thats more than we can say for the other MSM outlets.
Remember free speech. We may disagree but they do have that right. I don't think any of us would try and surpress them the way Kerry tried and is trying to surpress SBVT. |

I noted that Medina was a "Chaplain's assistant" in Iraq.
That McPeak stated Kerry's Silver Star was approved by a "Board of Officers" and that the "Colonel" chimed in it had to be approved by SecNac before being awarded.
That there were claims Bush has cut VA funding..same old lies.

Does anyone else out there remember when we were about 12 days into the Iraqi war and we started hearing 'It's another Vietnam"?????
back then I didn't understand it.... I thought 'Vietnam'? are these guys nuts??? This isn't like Vietnam!
Well, I'm getting a sneeking suspicion of who started that chant.....
anyone else wanna guess????? Mr 'I 'm gonna run for president and I know more (3 months?) about Vetnam than Bush does....'; bring Vietnam into it and I can parade out my medals?????
'We'll equate this war with Vietnam and I'll spread around my movies and pictures of me in uniform etc....'; bring out the TOAD book.. oH sorry, that's TOD .... '
I GOT news for Kerry.... Bush is MUCH better looking in his uniform! He's darn right CUTE!
And I don't think he ever expected the Swifties to bring out a book = a #1 best seller (does anyone know how kerry's book did?) - national ads, national support .... veterans coming out of the shadows after all these years to get their due! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!
Rita cosby will be doing interview w/Barnes' daughter regarding the forgeries next! _________________ Stevie

I watched some of the press conference after the rally. After a while, the speakers were so bo-o-o-ring, I just kept the sound on while I repaired one of my window blinds. Shows what I felt was more interesting. During the rally, I was so engrossed with the speakers, I turned the volume way up when I ran to the refrigerator to get another Pepsi in order to not miss anything! The speakers at the press conference resembled the bunch of misfits on the cover of Kash 'n' Carry's book, The New Soldier. What a crock! _________________ No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
