Is it just me or is anybody else having flashbacks to Gobochav beating his shoe on the podium yelling about how we won't let him go to Disneyland? _________________ Proud to be an American! and member of the PAJAMAHADEEN

Uh, Clue?
It was Khruschev, in the UN, with a shoe.
And he was going to bury us.

The Kerry Clan is getting down right embarassing..they need to stop it, they are only making fools of themselves..then again, who cares right? Let them keep making fools of themselves..
Drudge just reported 826,000 copies sold of Unfit for Command, glad to be counted among the total..keep up the good work..and be prepared for the kitchen sink to be thrown at President Bush this week..I think that the fat lady is warming up..

This is your brain. This is your brain with a side order of toast.
Any questions?

Not a problem I appriciate the correction, the difference between this site and sites like it and the prokerry sites is we are based on the true here and work as a team.

It was seared in me too. and i quoted it not long ago.
Then i found out that the quote was wrong. Not what we heard, but that the translator mistranslated...
here's a google http://tinyurl.com/3kr6s
ironic that a more accurate translation, maybe much closer to the truth. _________________ said Democratic Chairman Terry McAuliffe. "It is inexcusable to mock service and sacrifice."

All~ I just spent the better part of an hour reading all the posts on this (Bush campaign literature from 1978) DOWN at DU (yes, I feel like I need a shower ) - bottom line: the few regulars there that seem to have some sense think this is a nonstarter that will likely backfire on the DNC (and Kerry by association) if they insist on pressing this. Gotta love it when the opposition does your dirty work for you...they are blinded by hatred and will never learn.

So there has to be an explanation of the DNC suicide bombing Kerry, but what is it?
1.) The Carville'd/Begala'd/Macaulife'd DNC is actually as insane as I have always believed, and this Air Force/ANG semantics issue is the proof. They are so viciously partisan, blindly arrogant and hell-bent on revenge that, like King Nebuchadnezzar, they are being sent to nibble grass like oxen.
2.) They are just pathetically desparate, and having no issues they simply resort to these bizzare attempts to discredit their opponent.
3.) The new infusion to the Kerry campaign of Clinton people are loyal to Billary alone, and are strapping a bomb to candidate Kerry, sending him out to the voters, and convincing him he is a freedom fighter.
Reporting for duty? He needs to report to sick bay--specifically the psych ward.
I said it before, but I will say it again: I have been around alot of campaigns, and this is the most bizarre campaign I have *ever* seen. If someone would have told me the Kerry campaign would actually do this stuff, I would have said, "Nawww...but I hope they do!" I actually thought they were going to run a smart campaign. I.e., not attack Bush (a likeable guy) personally, stick to the issues, etc.
The Kerry people are going to have the electorate so worn out by the time Nov 2 gets here that this election will be decided by about 3% of those eligible to vote. The Bush voters will show up, and the Anti-Bush voters, but Kerry will so alienate his "normal" voters they will stay home in droves on election day. |

I agree with most of this but I am going to predict somthing, I believe and have believed that the republicans are going to have a victory here, not just BUSH but senetorial seats and congressional.
I think this is a changing of the guard, I do not believe it is going to be as close as what It is being made to look. Remeber the Florida Govenatorial race where polls were predicting a victory for the dems, this was the race the Dems said was what they were going to concentrate on to get Jeb out of office.
Jeb won with double digits.
George knows how to sand bag, I have learned alot from watching him, and enjoyed the affect. he lets his opponents get all ginned up and carried away, he takes the high road, always, making the left look like Buffoons. By not responding to claims it throws off the Polarized left into believing there is somthing there, they expound on it, untill it reaches the depths of Kooksville, then it is discredited.
Quite effective, Even Clinton warned the Dems to look out for him, and they continued with attacks on his speech, on how dumb he is, on haliburton, enron, guard duty, the list goes on, its great. |

Agreed. Kerry, or at the very least Kerry's campaign staffers know that something is dreadfully wrong. Forget the polls...look at what is happening. Kerry is giving up AZ, CO, Mo (the classic bellweather state), NC, AR, and VA.
In fact about the only "red" states he is concentrating on is OH (where is is clearly behind...again just talk to the local parties from both sides) and Florida (see Ohio coupled with a popular Governor). Kerry MUST campaign in these states or he is admitting he can not win the race.
If Bush carries all the states he did in 2000 except New Hampshire (and it looks like he will easily), then he wins. The Kerry campaign knows that which is why they are so deseperate. I suspect that the internal polling for both camps is a lot more dire (against Kerry) than the public polls. _________________ -Polaris
